Starboard Group management team assumes responsibility for the overall management and supervision of the company and provides strategic leadership, guidance to management, and assesses opportunities of the Company.
Joined starboard in 2016 and leads the financial and accounting tax and treasury functions of the organization. Kevin was previously with The Learning Experience the nations fastest growing franchisor as day-profit daycare centers where he managed finances, accounting, information technology and human resources. Prior to The Learning Experience, he was president of Boca Java a national, leading multi-channel gourmet roaster. Boca Java was a wholly-owned subsidiary of publicly trade fortune 1000 company, prior to that, Kevin held various financial and operational positions. Kevin is certified public accountant and a member of American institute of certified public accountants.
Joined Starboard Group as our Chief Operations Officer in November 2020. Darius comes to us from Universal Orlando, where he was the SVP and General Manager of City Walk. Prior to City Walk, he was the Chief Operating Officer for several restaurant groups including Firebird, Granite City Food & Brewery and Al Copeland Investments. Darius was also the National Director for Barnes and Nobles Café Division and held multiple operational positions with The Cheesecake Factory and Brinker International. Darius also founded the Twisted Tortilla Fresh Mex Grill, specializing in hand-crafted high-quality fresh food in Frisco, Texas. Darius has a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from Orange Coast College and can add Executive Chef at Macaroni Grill to his resume.
